23 is a chronicle of Michael Jordan in twenty-three photographs. Shot by Walter Iooss Jr. across eleven years of unprecedented access, the portfolio moves between the arena and the home, the public figure and the private one — competition, downtime, golf, baseball, and intimate sittings — tracing a chronological arc from 1987 to 1998.
The only portfolio Walter Iooss Jr. has ever produced. Limited to twenty-three complete sets, 23 exists as a finite edition — no reprints, no variants. A complete body of work, fully authored, documenting Jordan at the height of his career.
